सरे फैमिली एंड मीडिएशन सर्विसेज में अपनी बेटी के साथ संपर्क सत्र शुरू करने से पहले ... एक पिता को एलीन परेरा द्वारा बताया गया था कि संगठन के पास अच्छी तरह से प्रलेखित नीतियां हैं जो सभी माता-पिता को संपर्क सत्रों के दौरान तस्वीरें लेने, वीडियो या ऑडियो रिकॉर्ड करने से रोकती हैं।
पहले अलग-अलग संपर्क केंद्रों पर मां ने पिता की टिप्पणियों को लेकर 6 अलग-अलग झूठे आरोप लगाए. हर झूठे आरोप का खंडन किया गया जब पिता ने ऑडियो रिकॉर्डिंग पेश की, जिससे साबित हुआ कि वह झूठ बोल रही थी।
पिता से कहा गया था कि उन्हें सभी नीतियों की एक प्रति प्राप्त होगी, क्योंकि संगठन की वेबसाइट पर कोई भी प्रकाशित या संदर्भित नहीं किया गया था। न तो मुद्रित या इलेक्ट्रॉनिक प्रारूप में प्रतियां ऑनसाइट रखी गई थीं।
दूसरी बार जब पिता ने उन नीतियों की एक प्रति मांगी, जिनका पालन करने के लिए उन्हें सहमत होने के लिए मजबूर किया गया था, तो संपर्क बंद कर दिया गया था क्योंकि पिता पर तर्कपूर्ण विघटनकारी के रूप में लेबल था।
