किड्सवे कार्यक्रम काम करता है और मैं सभी को सलाह देता हूं कि वे अपने "वीकेंड चमत्कार" कार्यक्रम को देखने के लिए "बिग ब्रदर" स्थिति से अधिक की मांग करें, जहां आप एक सप्ताहांत होस्ट / संरक्षक बन सकते हैं और वंचित युवाओं के जीवन में बहुत बड़ा बदलाव ला सकते हैं।

किड्सवे एक अद्भुत एजेंसी है। मैंने उनके वीकेंड होस्ट कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से उनके साथ स्वेच्छा से काम किया है और प्राप्त अनुभव बहुत कुछ है। वे आपको पुराने बच्चों के साथ उस सिस्टम से मिलाते हैं जो मेजबानों की तलाश में हैं। स्वयंसेवक के रूप में लक्ष्य अपनाने को बढ़ावा देना और अपने बच्चे को उन परिवारों और व्यक्तियों को बढ़ावा देना / उजागर करना है जिन्हें अपनाने में रुचि हो सकती है। एजेंसी आपको इसके लिए आवश्यक प्रशिक्षण और उपकरण प्रदान करती है। उनके पास ऐसी घटनाएँ भी हैं जहाँ आप और बच्चे दोनों अलग-अलग गतिविधियाँ करते हैं। यानी द ग्रैमी म्यूजियम, बीच की एक्टिविटीज, स्पोर्ट्स आदि आपकी प्रतिबद्धता महीने में केवल दो बार है। यह वास्तव में पूरे सप्ताह के अंत में नहीं है, लेकिन यह महीने में दो बार एक दिन हो सकता है या बस महीने में दो बार अपने बच्चे के साथ रात का खाना / दोपहर का भोजन हो सकता है।

इसके अलावा, यदि आप एक बच्चे को गोद लेने के बारे में सोच रहे हैं और आपको यकीन नहीं है कि आप इसके लिए तैयार हैं, तो यह आपके "पैरों को गीला" करने के लिए सही जगह होगी। आपको एक बच्चे की मेजबानी करने और उसके साथ एक संबंध विकसित करने के लिए मिलता है। आपको पहले हाथ से देखने को मिलता है कि "सिस्टम" कैसे काम करता है और समय के साथ आप बच्चे की जरूरतों का अनुमान लगा सकते हैं और देख सकते हैं कि क्या आप अपनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं। यदि यह काम नहीं करता है, तो कम से कम आपने बच्चे के जीवन पर प्रभाव डाला है।
