I recently visited a library in Bologna and had a satisfactory experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the library lacked a wide variety of books. I was able to find a few books of interest, but the overall selection was limited. The online catalog was user-friendly, though. It's an average place to visit if you're in the area.
