I am a longtime resident of Macomb County and have had many experiences with the Macomb County Sheriff Department. Overall, my experiences have been average. The department is adequate when it comes to responding to calls and addressing issues. However, I have found that there is room for improvement in their communication with the community. There have been instances where I felt like I was not provided with enough information about an incident or that I was not kept updated on the progress of an ongoing investigation. It would be helpful if the department could work on being more transparent and keeping the community informed.
