I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in New York City and while my experience was not remarkable, it was also not disappointing. The staff were polite and courteous, but I found the service to be a bit lacking in terms of responsiveness and efficiency. The room itself was clean and comfortable, although it lacked the wow factor. The decor was simple and not particularly unique.
