As a former participant of the local advocacy program, I have mixed feelings about my experience. While the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program of Montgomery County, Maryland did provide me with support and guidance, I felt that some of their decisions were questionable. There were instances where I felt like my voice wasn't heard, and the outcome wasn't ideal. However, I still appreciate their efforts and acknowledge the positive impact they have on the community.
